For me, my roommate was one of my best friends freshman year and her sister was like my mentor and bonus sister on campus. Not only my college freshman roommate, but my hallmates were incredible as well. We went to freshman events together, got involved on campus together, and even had some of the same classes.

All of these questions will help you get to know your roommate more and figure out if there are things you would both be interested in doing and joining on campus. It never hurts to make an effort to get to know someone, especially your college roommate.
