+9 Best Self Improvement Podcasts For Women In Their 20s

If you love music and podcasts as much as I do, I hope you’ve realized something important. I hope you’ve realized that what you listen to can drastically affect your mood, how you see yourself, and how you see other people.

Because of this, lately, I have paid very careful attention to what I listen to. When it comes to music, I ~mostly~ listen to uplifting pop, confidence-boosting rap, or super chill house music. When it comes to podcasts, I want something funny, uplifting, or motivational.

I have listened to the self improvement podcasts below for a while now and have noticed I always feel better, lighter, and more self-assured after listening to them.

Most of the podcasts I listen to include things to boost my productivity in work and business, help me grow my confidence, or give amazing relationship advice.

If you’re into these topics, I’m 1000% sure you will find some new girlies you will love to listen to on the way to work/school, while you’re walking, or cleaning.

Best Self-Care Podcasts For Women

To All The People Podcast

Janell Roberts is a Dallas-based influencer who talks about her life growing up, succeeding despite the major adversity she has gone through, and how her listeners can navigate through difficult situations. When I listen to her I think of my sister giving me advice. She is so chill, motivating, and very relatable!

I appreciate her minimal editing style, making the episodes more raw and genuine.

Episodes to start:

Failure has to be apart of your achieving your DREAM; How I found the courage to keep going + My journey of becoming a business owner

Overconsuming OTHER PEOPLES LIVES MAKES YOU UNHAPPY. be unconventional

Being Her with Margarita Nazarenko

I found Margarita on TikTok and resonated sooo hard with what she was preaching, I then found her on all platforms immediately LOL. Her podcast is definitely more in the relationship advice and femininity realm. She wants women to find their inner voice, master detachment, and become “her”.

On a road trip I took from Texas to Tennessee, I listened to her entire audiobook on the way and enjoyed it a lot. She has a no-nonsense delivery that I appreciate and while she doesn’t have guests, she has a seemingly successful relationship and dating experience that she derives a lot of her advice from.

If you’re learning how to grow in your femininity or want to level up in your relationships and top being a doormat when it comes to dating, this is one of my favorite self improvement podcasts.

Episodes to start:

77: How to Become a Dream Girl Instead of a Place Holder.

36: Detach & Build your Self Esteem in 4 Steps.

Date Yourself Instead

This has been sooo therapeutic in a way to listen to. Her dating background is sooo drastically different from mine but I think she’s a great storyteller and has really sound advice. She was in a relationship for years in her teens that led into adulthood. I was in absolutely zero relationships growing up and started dating near the end of college and after.

Episodes to start:

If they wanted to, THEY WOULD.

Your reminder to stop settling in your dating life and to love yourself first.

Mel Robbins Podcast

My mom is one of the most uplifting people in my life and Mel reminds me of her. 🥹 Mel is an insanely iconic bestselling author and podcaster that speaks about improving your mental health, how to create and stick to habits, and how to be an all around more positive human being. This is by far the most popular self improvement podcasts out of my list.

One of my favorite things about Mel is her capability to explain high level topics in an easily digestible way. I mean, she will have Harvard clinic directors, doctors, and specialists in different fields and she makes what they say make sense to someone who doesn’t study their fields.

Episodes to start:

5 Essential Hacks I’m Using to Make New Habits Stick

Let Go if Negative Thoughts & Reprogram Your Mind for More Positive Thinking

The Psychology Of Your Twenties

This is still a fairly new podcast to me, but hey I’m in my twenties so why not. The title was intriguing and when I discovered her podcast I was looking for something to explain anxious attachment style and this one popped up so I gave it a try. She has a calming voice and the guests she has on are experts in their fields which is something you want in a podcast.

Episodes to start:

165. Dating with an anxious attachment style ft. Thais Gibson

267. Starting over in your 20s

Claim Your Power

I haven’t listened to this one as much as the others on this list, but it’s still good if you’re looking to make your dreams into a reality. She talks a lot about manifestation, becoming your dream girl, and how to forgive your past so it no longer holds you back.

Episodes to start:

Transform your self-esteem & becoming “HER”

the universe has your back

how to release the past

Build with Leila Hormozi

This podcast covers business related topics about 99% of the time so if you’re into that, you will love Leila. One of my favorite things about her is she is uber-successful and rich but is still super relatable. She is rich as a young adult and her delivery is very no-nonsense, cut the bullshit, straight forward advice.

Leila has an inspiring background story and she does business with her husband, Alex Hormozi, but she’s a baddie and a boss in her own right.

Episodes to add to the queue:

Stop Being A “Wantrepreneur”

The Break with Patricia Bright

I have listened to this podcast for years now and Patricia continues to provide sooo much useful tips and tricks in the wealth and wellness realm. I’ve actually bought her budget Excel template and use her advice on how to save a grow your money. She also dives into relationship advice, stories of successful entrepreneurs (her guests), and finance tips.

Episodes to start:

Freddie Harrel: The woman who shows that never settling will always work in your favour

YOU ARE LOSING MONEY: Debodun Osekita Tells Us Why

The Skinny Confidential Him & Her Podcast

I used to listen to their podcast like weekly. They’ve introduced me to so many health and wellness and personal development leaders but I also LOVE their solo episodes. Lauryn and Michael have fun dynamic and awesome guests.

My favorite thing about Lauryn is no matter who the guest is, she challenges them to get “granular” as she always says, to explain their methods of being more productive, for instance, or being more healthy, so that anyone listening can actually apply the tips and tricks to their life.

Episodes to start:

6 Strategies To Gain More Focus & Get Better Results In Life With Lauryn & Michael

Nicole Byer – How To Develop Confidence, A Positive Body Image, Manage Criticism, & Use Comedy To Heal

Girlsss please let me know if you have any other amazing self improvement podcasts! I love finding new inspiring people to listen to when I’m on the go. These are some of my favorite girls in the self-care and personal growth realm and I think you’ll like them too!
