Now that we have all the Sunday motivation that’ll last us for months, let’s talk about some other ways to maximize your energy and time on Sunday.
In addition to these Sunday motivation quotes, meditation is an incredible way to recenter your thoughts and mind for the new week. How I see it is that meditation isn’t necessary every week, definitely not every morning. It’s just one of the tools you can use if you feel anxious or nervous about beginning a new week.
Before I got into the groove of teaching, I would become extremely anxious about what I was going to teach, what if we finished early, and was I on track for the kids to take the STAAR? Meditation became a way that I can release the worries of tomorrow and have trust and faith that I have everything I need to succeed every single day.
If you don’t know where to start, I have referred to this one video in particular that I still use after spending time away from meditating for a while.
Another Sunday tool that will help you get ready for the week is journaling. Journaling can be over any topic: how the previous week went, your goals for the upcoming week, or anything else that comes to mind.
A simple way to start journaling is to have a guided journal to write in. The one I will always stand behind is the Five Minute Journal by Intelligent Change.
One of the least stressful ways to spend your Sunday is to plan for the week ahead! Every time I don’t plan for the week and set myself up for success I am scatterbrained, stressed out, and always on edge. Take your planner on Sunday and realistically plan out your week. What time will you wake up? What will you eat? Have you factored in your commute time? Any upcoming appointments? Everything should be logged to avoid room for errors and surprises.
Here are some planners I recommend:
My Sunday motivation quotes are to help inspire you for the week to come. But I also want you to find that inspiration and motivation within yourself. Every day starts with your mindset and the energy you bring that determines your day. Stay positive, stay hungry for life, and try your best to see Sunday as an opportunity to rest but also plan for an amazing week ahead.
